Why It makes Sense To Grown On The Go from The Green Side

Green Sherpa Grow On The Go

Save water by using an automated drip system, save money, save water, help the planet, Go on the Grow works every time.

I don’t know about you but I love to grow plants; flowers, veggies, herbs and any other plants but I hate the commitment of having to either weed the rows or water the plants on some rota defined by nature.   The result of my neglect is either I have a jungle of weeds to clear through or all my plants have moved off to nirvana leaving their dead husks behind.   I felt I was becoming a hostage to my garden; it would commit suicide if I went on vacation in the summer.    No summer holidays I have become a slave to my garden!  Yea Right!

I got so frustrated spending time and effort, all for naught that I was determined to find a simple way to have great food without busting a gut, spending a fortune, (see the $64 Tomato) or just being disappointed that my garden had died from neglect.    So here I explain an approach, with little upfront work and minimal one-time costs, that will give you real good fresh food or flowers either from your garden, patio, balcony or deck.

So why else should you do this, here’s why, the planet needs your help;

Of all the water in the world, only 3% is fresh. Less than one third of this fresh water is available for human use namely, only 1%. The rest is frozen in glaciers or polar ice caps, or is deep within the earth, beyond our reach.   With industrialization, farm irrigation and wastage humans thirst for water in manufacturing directly competes with our drinking water.  Of that 1% half now goes into industrialization and irrigation.  Guess what the third world countries are now just ramping up their industrial engines, so very soon we aren’t going to have much left to drink   And of that 0.5% we waste over 50% in leakage; for example running a sprinkler hose for 2 hours uses up to 500 gallons of water.    To put this all into perspective and leave you with a simple image; if the world’s water supply is represented by 50 gallons about a tablespoon is left as drinking water!

So I hope you see how the supply of water is shrinking fast, but you can do something about this, by using your water supply sensibly through my drip irrigation system. It uses a fraction of the water compared with the traditional sprinkler system yet grows those succulent veggies and beautiful flowers all from within a simple containment system with just the right amount of moisture.     So if you want to help save the planet’s water try my Green Sherpa Grow On The Go approach to growing your plants
